Human Resources Manager

Exodus Consulting Group, LLC is providing a confidential search for a Macomb County automotive manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable spearheading innovative corporate change strategies for a growing manufacturing company by being a strategic business partner and lead all human resources initiatives. This position is responsible for leading a team of two and will manage the full spectrum of HR responsibilities across multiple locations. This strategic partner will build, develop and foster a more unified and efficient approach to different facets of human resources operations.

The Human Resources Manager will design, present, and implement human resource initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall growth strategies. This position drives engagement by focusing on talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, compliance, change management, performance management, training and development, payroll, and strategic planning.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide effective talent and performance management coaching to the managers and executive teams.
  • Provide guidance to management with clear policy interpretation and organizational expectations.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience. 
  • Minimum of five years of progressive human resources leadership.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders (verbally and in writing).
  • Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to produce quality and timely results. 
  • Solid understanding of employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and human resources best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
